Malden JV Boys Basketball Tournament--January 11-16.

Boys Basketball Update This Friday, January 8, our boys basketball team will play at Cape Central. The freshmen will play at 4:30. The JV/V games will follow. General admission tickets for home spectators and visitors will begin ONE day prior to the event at 6:00 am. All transactions will be online through this website https://chs.capetigers.com/athletics/tickets. All spectators will be required to have a ticket to enter the game. There will be no tickets sold at the gate. All spectators will be expected to wear masks at all times while on Cape Central campus. All those not actively engaged in the athletic endeavor should be masked at all times. Our boys basketball team will begin play in the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament this Saturday as we take on Bloomfield at 9:00am. All tickets have been distributed through the players and coaches. We have been asked to remind parents/spectators to leave the gym after each session comes to an end. This will help the Bloomfield staff get ready for the next session and for the games to start on time. Additionally, we have been informed that there will be a limited amount of VIP passes at each session on day one. These passes will be valid for each session of the tournament. The Freshman Boys Basketball game against Sikeston tonight will be played in the HS gym. Game will tip at 6:00.

Boys Basketball Update The Boys Basketball game against Charleston has been postponed. The game will now be played on February 15, 2021. We will announce a date for senior night after Christmas Break.

Our girls basketball team will begin play in the Lady Royals Christmas Tournament this Saturday as we take on the Greenville Bears at 3:00pm. Go Bearcats!!

Wrestling-Tiger Classic Our high school wrestling team will take part in the Tiger Classic this Saturday at Cape Central Junior High School. Wrestling will begin at 10:30 am. All spectators will be required to have a ticket to enter the tournament. There will be no tickets sold at the gate. All transactions will be online through this website https://chs.capetigers.com/athletics/tickets. Cape Central asks that all spectators wear masks at all times while on campus and in our buildings. All those not actively engaged in the athletic endeavor should be masked at all times.

Senior Night Basketball Update On Thursday, our JV/V girls basketball team will play the Holcomb Hornets beginning at 6:00. We will honor seniors between JV and V game. On Friday, our boys basketball team will play the Charleston Bluejays. This will be a Varsity only contest. We will honor our cheer, dance, and basketball seniors beginning at 6:00. The game will begin at around 6:30.

The Dexter-Richland boys basketball game will be Varsity only tonight. The game will begin at 6:00. In order to attend the game, all spectators must present a SCAA at the door.

JV/V Girls Basketball Update-Tonight vs. New Madrid--6:00 Tickets will be limited for the girls basketball game tonight at New Madrid. Wrestling Update--Senior Night Our Wrestling team will open their season at home tomorrow night, December 8th, against the New Madrid County Central Eagles. To kick off the evening, our MS Wrestlers will face Sikeston and New Madrid beginning at 5:00 in the HS Gym. Following the MS match, we will honor our Senior Wrestlers. SEMO Conference Boys Basketball Tournament On Saturday, December 5th, our Boys Basketball team will face Notre Dame in the first round of the SEMO Conference Tournament beginning at 5:30. The tournament is held at the Sikeston Fieldhouse. General public tickets will be available at 5pm on Friday, December 4th. Event tickets are available online using the following link.
