Registration for Summer Journey is extended through April 25. If your student is required or recommended to attend and you haven't already signed them up, you will receive a letter from school this week. Students with perfect attendance will get $100.00, students missing up to 1 day will get $75.00, and students missing up to 2 days will get $50.00. Central Elementary- Please make sure you have signed the permission slip for the eclipse. Also, send a beach towel with your child so they can sit on while outside tomorrow.

Central Elementary- Please have your student complete the math and ELA AMI assignment for their grade level. It needs to be returned tomorrow. 3rd grade: Math- Write all the multiplication facts for 3, 4, 6, and 8. ELA- Read an AR book for 15 minutes. Then, write 5 verbs and 5 nouns found in the book. 4th grade: Math- Create and solve 6 long division problems. Three problems that are 3 digit divided by 1 digit, and three problems that are 4 digit divided by 1 digit. ELA- Write a 6 sentence informational paragraph describing how to build a snowman. 5th grade: Math- Write and solve 5 problems using order of operations. (Ex. 44- (2x9)=26 ) ELA- Read an AR book for 15 minutes, then write 5 sentences explaining what you read from the book.

Central Elementary- Students will be walking to the BEC tomorrow morning for the Veterans Day program. Please have your student wear red, white, or blue. Also, have them wear warm clothes that are comfortable enough to walk across campus.

Central Elementary- Don't forget that picture re-takes are tomorrow, Monday, November 6th for any student that was absent on the initial day or need his/her picture retaken. Please return the entire picture package, if getting a retake.
