Central Elementary- Don't forget about Family Reading Night and Book Fair tonight from 5:30-7:00 at Central Elementary.

Central Elementary- Book Fair week begins Monday, January 31st. Students will have the opportunity to participate in dress up days, Family reading night, and book fair days. The book fair dress up days are: Monday (1/31)- Wear plaid or red Tuesday (2/1)- Dress ready to hike Wednesday (2/2)- Wear shirt with words on it Thursday (2/3)- Wear Camouflage or colors found in camo Friday (2/4)- Pajama Day Make plans to join us for Family Reading Night and Book Fair on Monday, January 31st from 5:30-7:00.

Central Elementary- DHS Basketball Homecoming week is January 17th-January 21st. We will be participating in the following dress up days: Monday (17th)- Wear PJs Tuesday (18th)- Wear favorite holiday attire Wednesday (19th)- Wear athletic wear Thursday (20th)- Wear Flannel Friday (21st)- Wear white or Bearcat shirt

Central Elementary- The 2nd quarter Top 15 Reward trip to Dexter Bowl has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, January 13th. The students that earned this reward have already returned their permission slips.

Central Elementary- There will not be AIM after school tutoring this week. It will resume on Monday, January 10th.

Central Elementary- We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! School is out December 20th- January 3rd, and will resume on Tuesday, January 4th.

Central Elementary- The 5th grade Christmas Musical will be performed on Thursday, December 2nd at 6:00. Students performing in the musical need to be at school by 5:30. This musical is performed by the classrooms of Mrs. Pixley, Ms. Parker, Miss Lintz, and Mrs. Lovins.

Central Elementary- DARE graduation for 5th grade students is tomorrow, Tuesday, November 23rd at 9:00 a.m. Parents are invited to attend the graduation in the cafeteria at Central Elementary. Students will be given their black DARE shirt to wear for graduation when they arrive at school tomorrow.

Central Elementary- Central students will be watching the DHS musical of SHREK tomorrow, Tuesday, November 23rd at the DHS auditorium. Weather permitting, students will be walking to and from the high school auditorium, please dress accordingly. 3rd grade will view the musical from 9:00-10:15 and 4th/5th grade will view the musical from 1:00-2:15.

Central Elementary- There is NO AIM tutoring after school today. It will resume next Monday, November 29th.

Central Elementary Tomorrow evening, November 4, is Central's Family Math Night. Where: Central Elementary - cafeteria Time: 5:00-6:30 ( Drop in) Food will be served from 5:00-6:15. There will be a math activity available for families to solve together in the cafeteria. Parents and students will then have the opportunity to meet with teachers in their classrooms. During classroom time students will share math activities used on a daily basis and parents will have the opportunity to ask curriculum questions. Students will be entered into a drawing for door prizes and gift cards. If you are unable to attend please make sure you return the complete Math Adventure packet by tomorrow.

Tonight during the varsity game vs NMCC please remember to help keep our students, visitors, and parents safe during the game. Students should remain seated with an adult unless walking to the concession stand or bathroom and remember the grass area is not for playing. Thank you for your help.

Central Elementary fifth grade parents - reminder that tomorrow is band instrument rental night in the Central cafeteria from 4:00 to 6:30 . Drop in anytime to meet with the band directors and rent an instrument for your child. Information is attached to this post!

Central Elementary- Don't forget about the Middle School Open House tomorrow, Tuesday, May 4th at 5:30 p.m. This is for all 5th graders entering 6th grade next year. Students and parents will meet in the Middle School Cafeteria. The 5th grade class with the best attendance at Open House will receive a treat the next week.
