Central Elementary 5th Graders- Don't forget the Middle School Open House for incoming 6th graders is tomorrow, Tuesday, May 3rd @ 5:30 in the Middle School cafeteria. Middle school staff is super excited to meet all students and parents!!

Central Elementary- Just a reminder that there is no AIM after school tutoring for the remainder of the school year. Please make sure your student knows how they will go home at the end of the day.

Central Elementary- Tomorrow, Thursday, April 28th is the last day of AIM after school tutoring through the remainder of the school year.

Central Elementary fifth grade parents - if you have not returned your child's band enrollment form yet, please send those in by this Friday. Central Elementary- Due to this being a shortened holiday week, AIM After school tutoring has been cancelled for Wednesday, April 13th and Thursday, April 14th. We will resume after school tutoring on Wednesday, April 20th. The last day for tutoring is Thursday, April 28th.

Central Elementary- Don't forget to bring $1 to wear a hat tomorrow. All proceeds will benefit the Kenny Rogers Children's Center.

Central Elementary- On Friday, April 1st we will have a fundraiser for the Kenny Rogers Children's Center. Students may bring $1 to wear a hat. All proceeds will go to the KRCC.

Central Elementary- 5th Grade Spring Musical and Songmakers performance is tonight at 6:00 at Central. Parking is available in the front of the building and in the 5th grade playground parking lot. The front door and the 5th grade playground door will both be unlocked until 6:00. If you must enter late, only the front door will be open.

Central Elementary- There is NO after school tutoring this week (March 23rd-March 25th). It will resume on Monday, March 28th. Please make sure your student knows how they will get home this week.

Central Elementary- AIM after school tutoring is cancelled for today (Wednesday, February 23rd). Please make after school transportation arrangements for your students that usually attend tutoring.

Central Elementary- Don't forget about Family Reading Night and Book Fair tonight from 5:30-7:00 at Central Elementary.

Central Elementary- Students will have the opportunity to attend the book fair with their homeroom class either Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Here is a list of the classes for each day. Tuesday- Parker, Pixley, Scott, Averett, Rinehart, Terry, Stogsdill, Mayberry, Nichols, and Neldon Wednesday- Allen, Lummukka, Whitehead, Lintz, Lovins, Warren, Dodson, Miller, Muzny, Seiter, Williams, Templemire, Waddle, and Hilfiker Thursday will be a book fair make-up day for absent students.

Central Elementary- Book Fair week begins Monday, January 31st. Students will have the opportunity to participate in dress up days, Family reading night, and book fair days. The book fair dress up days are: Monday (1/31)- Wear plaid or red Tuesday (2/1)- Dress ready to hike Wednesday (2/2)- Wear shirt with words on it Thursday (2/3)- Wear Camouflage or colors found in camo Friday (2/4)- Pajama Day Make plans to join us for Family Reading Night and Book Fair on Monday, January 31st from 5:30-7:00.

Central Elementary- DHS Basketball Homecoming week is January 17th-January 21st. We will be participating in the following dress up days: Monday (17th)- Wear PJs Tuesday (18th)- Wear favorite holiday attire Wednesday (19th)- Wear athletic wear Thursday (20th)- Wear Flannel Friday (21st)- Wear white or Bearcat shirt

Central Elementary- The 2nd quarter Top 15 Reward trip to Dexter Bowl has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, January 13th. The students that earned this reward have already returned their permission slips.

Central Elementary- There will not be AIM after school tutoring this week. It will resume on Monday, January 10th.
