Central Elementary- There is NO school for students on Thursday, October 20th and Friday, October 21st. Parent/Teacher conferences are being held on Thursday, October 20th. You should receive information from your child's teacher regarding your conference time.
Central Elementary- Tuesday, October 25th is Picture Re-take day. Students wanting retakes must bring their old pictures with them. If your student did not get their picture taken this year, they may be ordered online at
inter-state.com/order using the code: 72058QB. Extra forms are available in the office, if needed.
Central Elementary- There will NOT be any AIM after school tutoring this week (October 17th-October 19th). Tutoring will resume on Monday, October 24th.
Central Elementary- We are asking students to bring $3 to help cover the cost of snacks, candy, and activities for the Fall Party. Please send the money to your child's teacher by October 19th. The Fall Party is scheduled for Monday, October 31st.
Central Elementary- DHS Student Council is asking for your help by donating bags of candy to be used at the Trunk or Treat. Candy will be collected from October 3rd to October 27th. The homeroom class collecting the most candy will receive a pizza party.
Central Elementary- AIM after school tutoring begins tomorrow, Monday, September 26th. If your child has been invited to attend and has returned the permission slip, please make plans to pick your student up at 4:00. AIM tutoring is every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:15-4:00.

Central Elementary- Grandparents Night is Monday, September 12th from 5:30-6:30. Students and grandparents may drop-in during that time to meet the teacher and see the building. PTO will take ONE PICTURE of each student with their grandparents for FREE. PTO will also be set up selling select T-shirt sizes for $10. Hope to see you there!!

Central Elementary- We are excited to see everyone tomorrow for the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!! Students may be dropped off daily between 7:30-8:00 a.m. The tardy bell will ring at 8:05 each morning. Students planning on eating breakfast need to be at school by 8:00 a.m.

Central Elementary- A dollar drive to benefit the Boon Park Project will be held Tuesday, May 17th-Wednesday, May 18th. The class in each grade level that collects the most money will receive a free one day pass to the city pool and the class will receive a nacho party. Thank you for your support and participation to raise money for the Boon Park Project.
