Kindergarten Summer School 2026 is May 20 to June 17
We are excited to have your child in summer school!
Kindergarteners should NOT ride the bus to school on the first day of summer school; however, they are welcome to ride the bus home that day. Please bring your student entering Kindergarten to the Southwest Elementary Gym at 9:00 a.m. on May 20. You will have a brief meeting with your child’s teacher. After the meeting, teachers will walk students to their classrooms at Southwest Elementary.
Students will be given a lanyard with an ID tag containing important information. The lanyard color indicates which bus they ride or if they are a parent drop off and/or pick up. Students need to wear these EVERY morning to school and will wear them home each afternoon. Students, who are dropped off and/or picked up, will be given a sign to display in your car window to help traffic move quicker.
