Parents/Guardians,

The Dexter School District is excited to announce the 2026-27 Back to School Bash on July 30, 2026 at the Bearcat Event Center.  At this event, we will ask returning families to complete their 26-27 online registration update. To update any information, a parent portal is required.  If you do not have a parent portal account, one can be created at the event.   Families who are new to the district will be able to enroll their students using Infinite Campus and also obtain a parent portal account. Parents can complete a meal application online in their parent portal.  Student Chromebook fees will be waived with a completed meal application.

New students to the district will need the following information.

  • Birth Certificate

  • Immunization Records

  • Proof of Residence

  • Court Documents

  • Date of Birth for any Parents or Guardians listed in Infinite Campus

Returning students who have a change of address will need to provide one of the following documents listing your name and the address for proof of residency.

  • Utility Bill – electric, water or gas bill

  • Rental agreement or signed receipt from the landlord

  • REAL ESTATE PROPERTY tax receipt — NOT PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX

  • Mortgage statement

  • Notarized residency affidavit - If you don’t have bills in your name and are living with someone

Besides making updates to your students information and creating a parent portal account you can also expect the following at the Back-to-School Bash:

  • Wagner Portrait Studio will be available for school pictures.

  • Class lists and student schedules will be available.

  • Southwest students will be able to get their identification cards for student pick-up.

  • Locker assignments will be available.

  • High school students can get a parking pass.

  • Student fees and fines may be paid.

  • If your child required vaccinations over the summer, those records may be turned in.

  • Several community organizations and resources will have booths to share information.

  • Bearcat t-shirts and merchandise will be available for purchase.
