
Central Elementary- We will be selling ice cream bars/popsicles on Thursday, April 13th for $1 each. The proceeds will go to Woodland School, to be utilized for those impacted by the tornado.

Central Elementary - Tomorrow (Thursday, April 6) is the deadline to register your child for summer school! Summer school is available to all Dexter students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade; summer school will be held June 1-28 from 7:30am-2:00pm each day. Central Elementary- Our students have reached another $1,000 milestone for the Kids Heart Challenge. To celebrate we take care of our Hearts from the Inside Out, students may WEAR SOMETHING INSIDE OUT tomorrow, Tuesday, March 7th!

Central Elementary- Put heart disease to rest, wear PJ's on Monday, March 6th!! Central is doing an excellent job with the Kids Heart Challenge. Keep up the good work, we will have a dress up day for each additional $1,000 raised!!

Central Elementary- The Book Fair and Family Reading night has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 7th from 5:30-7:00. Classes will be scheduled to visit the book fair at school next week from Tuesday-Friday.

Central Elementary- AMI assignments for Friday, February 3rd..
3rd grade:
ELA-Write 1 sentence for each spelling word (using the spelling word correctly in the sentence) and read for 30 minutes.
Math- Write the multiplication facts you are ready to test on 5 times each (ex. On 7s, write 0x7-10x7).
4th grade:
ELA-Read AR book for 30 minutes and write 1 paragraph about the snow/ice this week.
Math- Create a math worksheet that includes 10 multiplication problems and 1 multiplication word problem, solve each problem.
5th grade:
ELA-Read AR book for 30 minutes and write 5 sentences relating to the weather using correct grammar and punctuation.
Math- Write and solve 3 problems using 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication and write 2 multiplication word problems.
Assignments will be turned in when we return to school.

Central Elementary- 5th grade students will be attending Eagle Day on Friday, February 3rd in Puxico, MO from 8:20-12:15. Students will need to dress warm due to some activities being outside.
