Central Elementary-
Tomorrow, Friday March 8th students may bring $1 to wear a hat. All money will go to the American Heart Association for our Heart Challenge.

Central Elementary- Please have your student complete the math and ELA AMI assignment for their grade level. It needs to be returned tomorrow.
3rd grade:
Math- Write all the multiplication facts for 3, 4, 6, and 8.
ELA- Read an AR book for 15 minutes. Then, write 5 verbs and 5 nouns found in the book.
4th grade:
Math- Create and solve 6 long division problems. Three problems that are 3 digit divided by 1 digit, and three problems that are 4 digit divided by 1 digit.
ELA- Write a 6 sentence informational paragraph describing how to build a snowman.
5th grade:
Math- Write and solve 5 problems using order of operations.
(Ex. 44- (2x9)=26 )
ELA- Read an AR book for 15 minutes, then write 5 sentences explaining what you read from the book.

Central Elementary- We are having AIM after school tutoring today (Thursday, January 18th).

Central Elementary- We can't wait to see everyone back tomorrow. Don't forget to return your AMI assignments tomorrow. Also, tomorrow is Camo/Animal print dress-up day for homecoming!!

Central Elementary-AMI assignments for Wednesday, January 17th. Students need to complete both the math and ELA assignment for their grade.
3rd grade: -Write all of the 6, 7, 8, and 9 multiplication facts (ex. 6x1=6, 6x2=12). -Write a friendly letter to someone about the snow and/or snow day. 4th grade: -Create 10- 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication problems and solve (ex. 64x28=1792). -Read an AR book for 15 minutes and identify/write 5 proper nouns and 5 common nouns within the book. 5th grade: -Write 10 Decimals numbers to the thousandths place and round them to the nearest tenth. -Write a 5 sentence paragraph describing the snow and/or the snow day.

Central Elementary- 5th grade DARE graduation is tomorrow, Thursday, December 14th at 9:00. Doors will open at 8:45 for parents/guardians that want to attend.

Central Elementary- Students will be walking to the BEC tomorrow morning for the Veterans Day program. Please have your student wear red, white, or blue. Also, have them wear warm clothes that are comfortable enough to walk across campus.

Central Elementary- Please join us on Thursday, November 9th from 5:30-7:00 for LEGO Math Night at Central Elementary. Student prizes will be given away.

Central Elementary- Don't forget to join us tonight for a drop in from 5:30-6:30 for grandparents night. PTO will be taking 1 FREE picture of each student with their grandparent.

Central Elementary- Chromebooks will be sent home on Tuesday nights beginning on September 12th. If you have not paid the $30 fee please send it with your child or pay online using the SIS parent portal.

Central Elementary-
Students must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Positive Sportsmanship throughout the game.
No playing football, tag, or running around during the game.
Stay seated unless visiting the bathroom or concession stand.

Central Elementary- Back to School night is Tuesday, August 22nd drop-in from 5:30-7:00. Bring your school supplies and meet your teacher. There will be a Title 1 informational meeting at 6:30 in the Central Library.
