ELA: Using your descriptive paragraph about the snow (from Wednesday), circle all the verbs and underline the nouns.
Math: Write your 8, 9, and 10 multiplication facts (3 times each)
4th Grade
ELA: Write five complete sentences that include a plural noun. Example nouns - girls, people, cats, basketballs. OR - read a book and write a paragraph with five sentences about the book you read.
Math: Write and answer five subtraction problems with 4 digits - 4 digits that require regrouping and solve. (Ex. 6234 - 1789)
5th Grade
ELA: Using the same "Building a Snowman" paragraph, go back and underline all nouns used in each sentence.
Math: Write and answer three problems that include two decimals (Ex. 2.23 x 4.5 = 10.035)

Central Elementary - Our book fair and family reading night have been rescheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, February 6) from 5:30-7:00. The book fair will be open and our ELA teachers will have lots of fun activities for the kids. We hope to see you all there!

Math-Create 4 long division problems (4 digit dividend) and solve.
5th grade:
ELA-Write a 5-7 sentence paragraph about plans to spend their day. Underline any Main verbs and Helping verbs used in each sentence.

Central Elementary- The forecast this week has extremely cold weather and single digit wind chills. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the cold weather including: coats, gloves, hats, etc. We will only go out to recess if the wind chill is above 32 degrees each day.

Central Elementary 5th Grade Parents, the Dare Graduation is on Thursday, November 21, at 9:00 AM. The doors will open at 8:45 AM.

Central Elementary- The Veteran's Day program will be held tomorrow, Friday, November 8th at the BEC. Students are asked to wear red, white, and blue to celebrate.
