Week of May 6-10

FIFTH GRADE DANCE PICTURES: The family pictures taken at the fifth grade dance are now available here! Please feel free to download and share your family's pictures!

MAP TESTING CONTINUES: All Central students will continue taking the MAP test beginning on Monday; students will test in ELA and mathematics. Students took one of these last week; they will complete the other this week. MAP testing will take place from 8:30-10:30 each morning. Please make sure your child has a good night's rest and is at school on time. Also, a reminder that breakfast is served for FREE to all students during on test dates. END OF AR TESTING: The last day for AR testing for this school year will be Monday, May 6 at the end of the school day (3:00pm).

BAND INSTRUMENT RENTAL NIGHT: Students participating in band next year may visit with music store representatives and Mr. Jinkerson on Thursday, May 9 from 3:30-6:30 in the cafeteria to rent or purchase an instrument.

THIRD GRADE FIELD TRIP: Four third grade classes (Mrs. Galloway, Mrs. Muzny, Mrs. Neldon, and Mrs. Patch) will take their field trip to the Cape Girardeau Conservation Center on Friday, May 10. The remaining third grade classes (Mrs. Dodson, Ms. Hilfiker, Mrs. Nichols, and Mrs. Whitehead) will take their trip next week, on Wednesday, May 15.

FOURTH GRADE FIELD TRIP: All fourth grade classes will take their field trip on Monday, May 13. They will travel to Cape Girardeau for bowling.
