Southwest celebrated Read Across America week March 4th - 8th! We celebrated by reading aloud in class and by welcoming guest readers into our classrooms! A big thank you to the parents, grandparents, and community members that shared stories with our students!

If your child sold trash bags, they must be picked up before 7:00 p.m. today.
You may pick up trash bags at the back of the BEC from 12:00-2:30 or from 3:30-6:30 today.
Southwest Students will sell trash bags from September 5th - September 19th!

Southwest will have Grandparents Night on Monday, September 11th from 5:00-7:00.

Southwest Elementary is uniting with Stoddard County schools to raise money for the Woodland School. These funds will be utilized for those impacted by the Wednesday morning tornado. This fundraiser will begin tomorrow and conclude on Friday.
Wednesday - Friday - Southwest Bucket Brigade
Send your change or extra dollars to fill the bucket for Woodland! The class that raises the most money will have popsicles and extra playtime on the playground of their choice.
Thursday - Hat Day
Students can bring a dollar to donate to the fundraiser and wear their favorite hat.

Bearcat Buddies is being cancelled for April 3 due to Big Truck Night.
BEARCAT BUDDIES IS CANCELLED FOR TODAY IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER.
The Bookfair Family Night scheduled for tonight will be rescheduled for Thursday night due to possible inclement weather.
The class schedules will stay the same and will be extended into next week.
