2021 Southwest Elementary Fall Reading Scavenger Hunt Bingo Complete the bingo card and survey anytime from now until Sunday, November 7th. As you explore the downtown businesses, you will be able to complete your bingo card. You can fill up your card or just get 5 in a row. Record your answers on the bingo card, fill out the survey and return it to school by Monday, November 8th to be entered into a drawing for awesome prizes!!!

UPDATE ON 1ST AND 2ND GRADE FIELD TRIP: This is our hopeful plan and where we are now with the field trip: *We are postponing Thursday's field trip due to 80% chance of rain. This is trying to be rescheduled for Monday, November 1st. A note will be sent home when this is finalized.

Our DHS clubs and teams will host Trunk or Treat/ Haunted Hallways inside the high school on Thursday, October 28 from 5:00 - 6:30. This event is for pre-K - 5th grade students who are dressed up for Halloween. A huge thank you to the staff and students at Central and Southwest who have collected extra candy for us!! We look forward to seeing all of the little ghosts and goblins!!

With inclement weather being forecasted this week, we want to be prepared in case of a school closure. Please follow these guidelines in regard to the AMI packets: Packets are only completed if Dexter School District is out of school. *If school is dismissed for inclement weather, complete your first AMI packet. *If school is dismissed for inclement weather for a second day, complete your second AMI packet.
