Middle School parents:
Tomorrow is our last day of school-NOON dismissal. Remind your student/s they aren't allowed to bring anything on the bus tomorrow. Also, if there are fines and fees owed, books, Chromebooks, or chargers outstanding.... those will all need to be turned in or paid prior to registering next year.

Free Physical Day will be held at the SE Health Hospital Clinic(N. One Mile Road) on Thursday, May 4th, from 3:30-5:00 pm for any incoming 7-12 student that plans to participate in sports and/or band. A new MSHSAA physical form will be on hand in the HS and MS office. Students should complete the first three pages before meeting with the healthcare provider. A parent/guardian signature is required on the form. The school will only need a copy of the last page. We encourage all student athletes to get a physical. Thanks again to SE Health for providing this service for our students.

Athletic Update
HS Softball has been canceled. If we are able to reschedule the game, we will announce at a later time.
HS Boys Baseball has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time.
HS Boys Tennis will start at 3:00pm(instead of 4:00pm) at Poplar Bluff.
MS Baseball has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time.
MS Track at Dexter will start at the scheduled time today--3:30pm.
MS Baseball - We will travel to Cape today (4-25-2022) to play the Cape Junior high team. The game will be played at the high school baseball field and will start at 5:00 pm.
Wrestling Update
Our wrestling team will travel to the Jackson JV Tournament and the Ste. Genevieve Duals tomorrow.

December 9th - The choir will be hosting a Christmas Concert in the middle school gym. The concert will start at 6:00 pm.
Athletic Update
We were notified by Malden this morning that they will not be able to play football this Friday. At this point, we will not play on Friday.
We plan to honor our seniors(band members and fall athletes) at the district game on October 29. The game will be played at Dexter. More details to come next week.

Southeast Health will once again be providing free physicals for all Dexter athletes entering grades 7-12. This will take place at the hospital from 3:30-5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13th. We recommend that all athletes take advantage of this service even if you have had a physical in the last year. We would like thank SE Health for providing this service for our students!
Middle School Band Concert will be Thursday - April 29, 2021 at 6:00pm. The concert will be in the Middle School gym.
No School for Easter Break, April 2 to April 5. School resumes Tuesday, April 6th.
Middle School baseball tryouts begin tomorrow. Students wishing to tryout must have a physical on file in order to participate. Tryouts will be after school until 5:00pm at the middle school.
The Dexter-Cape Central girls basketball game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. All tickets that were purchased will be credited back to the cardholder.
Students return to school January 5, 2021. Second Quarter Report Cards go home Wednesday, January 6th.
