T.S. Hill Middle School Athletic Update -
The baseball game scheduled for today with Kelly has been cancelled.
Practice will be at the field after school until 5:00 pm.
The Middle School Band Concert is this Thursday, May 1, at 5:30 in the MS gym.

Middle School will MAP test April 30 – May 9. 8th graders will start ELA on Wednesday, April 30. May 1, 8th graders will start taking the Science portion of MAP in their Science classes.
May 5-9 all grades will be tested in their Math and ELA classes. Please encourage students to charge their Chromebooks at home and to bring headphones (not Bluetooth) with them each day of testing. There will be free breakfast available throughout testing. Please encourage students to get plenty of rest and try to avoid missing school during testing. Thank you!
T.S. Hill Middle School will be hosting our annual Field Day on May 15, 2025! This year's event will include the following activities:
● Bounce House Obstacle Course
● Jousting House
● Foam Party
All students will be allowed to participate in these activities unless a parent or guardian chooses to opt them out.
If you do not want your child to participate in the field day activities, please complete and return the OPT OUT form by May 9, 2025.
The OPT OUT form was emailed to all parents/guardians on Monday, April 28th. The form may also be accessed via a LINK on the Middle School Daily Announcements.

The baseball game scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday 4/23) has been canceled. There is a tentative plan to play at Sikeston on Monday. Information will be shared once confirmed.
This message is for 8th graders trsveling with Teens to DC this summer: There is a mandatory meeting tomorrow (4/23) night at 5 pm for 8th grade students who are traveling to Washington, D.C. in the middle school library.
All incoming 8th graders will need the Tdap and meningococcal vaccines before school starts in August. Per Missouri state law, a student cannot remain in public school unless they are properly immunized or have provided an immunization exemption form. Thank you!

The start time for the MS baseball game today at Poplar Bluff has been changed to 5:15 pm.

Registration for Summer School is now open on Infinite Campus. Summer Journey is May 22 - June 19, 7:30 - 2:00 daily (with 5/26 off for Memorial Day). Students with perfect attendance will earn $100.00. Students who miss up to 1 day will receive $75.00, and students who miss up to 2 days will earn $50.00. Summer Journey is open to students entering Kindergarten through students finishing 8th grade. Busing will be planned using Infinite Campus. It is VERY IMPORTANT to register students by April 11. Please register even if you are only considering sending your student/s.
