Today is mid-quarter for 1st quarter. You can view your student's grades through the Infinite Campus parent portal. If you cannot access the portal, your account may not be completely set up or you have not completed the required online registration for your student/s. To complete the registration process you need to bring proof of residency, your child's birth certificate, and shot record to the MIddle School office. Thank you and have a nice evening.

The 7th/8th-grade BEARCAT FOOTBALL team will play New Madrid at home on Thursday, September 12th, beginning at 4:00 pm. The game was initially scheduled to start at 5:30 pm but was moved up due to the weather forecast.

There is a fundraising meeting for students who are signed up for Teens to DC tonight in the MS Cafeteria at 6:00.

The Middle School Dance is tonight, August 29 from 6:00 - 8:00 in the MS gym. Only Middle School students are allowed to attend the dance. Once students are dropped off they will not be permitted to leave the dance until they are picked up. If students leave the dance, they can't return. It is a good idea to make a pick up plan with your student. You can use the traditional pick up lines, meet in the teacher parking lot or church parking lot., or you can use the HS back lot as a meeting place. Students will not cross Brown Pilot. They will use the cross walk and the grass in front of the tennis courts if meeting in those directions. Concessions will be available for purchase at the dance. Thanks a have a great day!

Parents/Guardians of 8th Graders: Letters regarding immunizations went home recently. with students who require immunizations. The last day for them to be in school without an updated immunization record is Wednesday, 9/4. Thank You

The MS dance is this Thursday, August 29 from 6:00 - 8:00. The theme is Jungle Safari! Only Dexter MS students are allowed at the dance and admission is $1.00 at the door.

T.S. Hill Middle School students and parents are invited to an open house on Thursday, August 22nd from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. We will meet in the gymnasium for introductions at 5:30 and then release 7th/8th grade students and parents to visit classrooms. Students who received a BETA invitation should go to the cafeteria for an informational meeting. 6th-grade students and parents will remain in the gym for a brief orientation.

We will celebrate our 3 retirees this week with the following days! Monday - Pajama Party in the USA! Wear PJs or Red, White, and Blue Tuesday - Mrs. T. Day - Rocking the School Year Out! Dress like a rock star or a grandma/grandpa. Wednesday - Mrs. Stize Day - Thank you for the Music! Dress in your favorite era. Thursday - Mr. Kruse Day - KISS the School Year Goodbye! Rock band or Bearcat t-shirts Friday - School's Out For SUMMER! Dress like SUMMER!

Middle School will be MAP testing this week, May 6-10, in all grades. Free breakfast will be provided daily.

Free Physical Day will be held at Mercy Hospital(N. One Mile Road) tomorrow, May 2nd, from 3:30-5:00 pm for any incoming 6-12 student that plans to participate in sports and/or band. A MSHSAA physical form will be on hand in the HS and MS office. Students should complete the first three pages before meeting with the healthcare provider. A parent/guardian signature is required on the form. The school will only need a copy of the last page. We encourage all student athletes to get a physical. Thanks again to Mercy Hospital for providing this service for our students.

Middle School yearbook sales start today. They can only be ordered online or by calling Wagner Portrait Group. The last day to order is March 20.

Report cards are coming home with students today. Grades can also be viewed on SISK12. Have a great weekend!

MS students received their school pictures today. If you didn’t order a picture packet, they received a proof and information on ordering pictures online.

Message for Teens to DC…. If you sold butter braids, they have been delivered to MS. They can be picked up in the MS cafeteria until 5:00 today, October 4. Thank You!

Middle School parents: Tomorrow is our last day of school-NOON dismissal. Remind your student/s they aren't allowed to bring anything on the bus tomorrow. Also, if there are fines and fees owed, books, Chromebooks, or chargers outstanding.... those will all need to be turned in or paid prior to registering next year. Athletic Update HS Softball has been canceled. If we are able to reschedule the game, we will announce at a later time. HS Boys Baseball has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time. HS Boys Tennis will start at 3:00pm(instead of 4:00pm) at Poplar Bluff. MS Baseball has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time. MS Track at Dexter will start at the scheduled time today--3:30pm.
