The Middle School Dance is this Thursday, August 28 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the MS gym. Addmision is $2.00 and only Middle School students are allowed to attend the dance. Once students are dropped off they will not be permitted to leave the dance until they are picked up. If students leave the dance, they can't return. It is a good idea to make a pick up plan with your student. You can use the traditional pick up lines, meet in the teacher parking lot or church parking lot., or you can use the HS back lot as a meeting place. Students will not cross Brown Pilot. MS will host Open House for parents and students on August 21 from 5:30 - 6:30. There will be a brief meeting in the gym for everyone, followed by orientation for incoming 6th graders and students new to the district. Students attending Summer Journey are bringing home a pink note today that has information about the attendance incentive gift card. This note has information about how the cards will be distributed this year. To avoid cards being lost in the mail or sent to an incorrect address, students who earn a gift card can pick it up on July 8 in the BEC lobby from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. If you can't pick up the card on this date, they will be available at the Back-To-School Bash at the BEC on July 31 from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
