All 8th grade students will tour the Poplar Bluff Career and Technical School on Monday, May 12. Students will go with their advisory class. The folloing classes will go at 8:30 - Bolin, King, Lummukka, Thurlkill, and Mr. Jinkerson. The following classes will go at 12:30 - Becker, Warren, Phillips, and Mrs. Jinkerson . This trip is very informative. and helpful as students make future plans. Thank you!
The Middle School Pop Concert is tomorrow night, 5/8, at 6:00 in the MS Gym. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choirs will participate. Thank you!

The baseball game scheduled for today with Kelly has been cancelled.
Practice will be at the field after school until 5:00 pm.

Middle School will MAP test April 30 – May 9. 8th graders will start ELA on Wednesday, April 30. May 1, 8th graders will start taking the Science portion of MAP in their Science classes.
May 5-9 all grades will be tested in their Math and ELA classes. Please encourage students to charge their Chromebooks at home and to bring headphones (not Bluetooth) with them each day of testing. There will be free breakfast available throughout testing. Please encourage students to get plenty of rest and try to avoid missing school during testing. Thank you!
T.S. Hill Middle School will be hosting our annual Field Day on May 15, 2025! This year's event will include the following activities:
● Bounce House Obstacle Course
● Jousting House
● Foam Party
All students will be allowed to participate in these activities unless a parent or guardian chooses to opt them out.
If you do not want your child to participate in the field day activities, please complete and return the OPT OUT form by May 9, 2025.
The OPT OUT form was emailed to all parents/guardians on Monday, April 28th. The form may also be accessed via a LINK on the Middle School Daily Announcements.

The baseball game scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday 4/23) has been canceled. There is a tentative plan to play at Sikeston on Monday. Information will be shared once confirmed.
This message is for 8th graders trsveling with Teens to DC this summer: There is a mandatory meeting tomorrow (4/23) night at 5 pm for 8th grade students who are traveling to Washington, D.C. in the middle school library.
All incoming 8th graders will need the Tdap and meningococcal vaccines before school starts in August. Per Missouri state law, a student cannot remain in public school unless they are properly immunized or have provided an immunization exemption form. Thank you!
