Southwest Elementary is uniting with Stoddard County schools to raise money for the Woodland School. These funds will be utilized for those impacted by the Wednesday morning tornado. This fundraiser will begin tomorrow and conclude on Friday.
Wednesday - Friday - Southwest Bucket Brigade
Send your change or extra dollars to fill the bucket for Woodland! The class that raises the most money will have popsicles and extra playtime on the playground of their choice.
Thursday - Hat Day
Students can bring a dollar to donate to the fundraiser and wear their favorite hat.

Our very own Gideon Pfeffer has been chosen as a 🌟Telethon Star 🌟 for the upcoming 42nd Annual Telethon for the Kenny Rogers Children's Center in Sikeston, MO. Southwest students and staff are going to be given the opportunity to help raise funds so that children from our area can continue to receive therapies free of charge. On Friday, March 25th the students and staff will be able to donate $1 (or more) to wear a hat to school for the day. Mrs. Kruse will collect the money throughout the day and get it to the family that evening so that Gideon will be able to present it the following day at the event. Student notes will be sent home March 23rd or 24th. Please mark your calendars.
