ParentSquare Information

Dear Bearcat Families

We are excited to announce that we have adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Dexter R-XI School District called ParentSquare. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent using the email address and phone number provided in our student data system. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

This unified communications platform replaces several other communication apps that were previously used and is designed to keep parents and guardians informed for greater engagement and connection. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, coaches/sponsors, and parents to:

• Stay up to date with news and events

• Send and receive school and class information

• Receive and share pictures and files

• See calendar items

• Sign up to volunteer

• Schedule parent-teacher conferences

• and much more . . . all in one centralized place!

District, school, and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices).

If you received an invitation to join ParentSquare. Please click the link to activate your account. If you didn’t, you can use the email or phone number you have on file at school. It takes less than a minute.
