Southwest-Kindergarten Graduation Guest Entry and Security Guidelines-To ensure everyone is seated and the ceremony begins promptly at 6:00, you must pass through the metal detectors before entering the seating area in the BEC. No bags, purses or backpacks are allowed in the building. Cell phones do not trigger the detectors. If you set off the alarm, you will be directed to a secondary area where Dexter PD officers will conduct a brief screening of you and your belongings.
Southwest--Friendly Reminder--Bearcat Buddies has ended for the year! There will be no students staying for after school tutoring at Southwest for the remainder of the school year.
Southwest Families- EARLY bus 19 will run 30-40 minutes late. Students will be picked up from SW at 3:45; therefore LATE bus 19 will be later, as well. LATE bus 19 will be picked up from SW around 3:50 and students will arrive home around 20 minutes later than their normal time.
Southwest Families-NO Bearcat Buddies after school on Monday, April 27th due to possible inclement weather.
Summer School registration is still open on your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Please register your student/s as soon as possible. We are not participating with Summer Journey, so there will be no gift card incentive for attendance.
Southwest Families-We do NOT have Bearcat Buddies today-Thursday, April 2, 2026. There will be no school Friday and Monday. School will resume Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Southwest Families--Friendly Reminder--There is NO Cheer Camp for Southwest students today. ONLY students in Central will have Cheer Camp today. Notes will go home tomorrow about the performance Friday night.

If a student earns an attendance incentive gift card, the student must be present when the card is picked up. Thank you!
If you can't pick up the card on this date, they will be available at the Back to School Bash at the BEC on July 31 from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Thanks!
This note has information about how the cards will be distributed this year. To avoid cards being lost in the mail or sent to an incorrect address, students who earn a gift card can pick it up on July 8 in the BEC lobby from 8:00 a.m.-6:00p.m.
Tomorrow is the last day of Summer Journey. We will dismiss at 2:00, regular time. Students attending Summer Journey are bringing home a pink note today that has information about the attendance incentive gift card.
