Athletic Update The JV Football game for this evening at East Prairie has been cancelled.

Our football game on Friday against Scott City will now start at 8:00pm. Go Bearcats!!

2023 Graduation DVD copies are ready to be picked up in the high school office. Extra copies are available to purchase if you did not pre order one.

Free Physical Day will be held at the SE Health Hospital Clinic(N. One Mile Road) on Thursday, May 4th, from 3:30-5:00 pm for any incoming 7-12 student that plans to participate in sports and/or band. A new MSHSAA physical form will be on hand in the HS and MS office. Students should complete the first three pages before meeting with the healthcare provider. A parent/guardian signature is required on the form. The school will only need a copy of the last page. We encourage all student athletes to get a physical. Athletic Update HS Softball has been canceled. If we are able to reschedule the game, we will announce at a later time. HS Boys Baseball has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time. HS Boys Tennis will start at 3:00pm(instead of 4:00pm) at Poplar Bluff. MS Baseball has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time. MS Track at Dexter will start at the scheduled time today--3:30pm.

DHS parents, The top 10% ceremony begins at 6:30 pm tonight in the DHS auditorium. Students are to arrive no later than 6:00 pm. Thank you!!:)

Mrs. Smith's advisory participated in the Mother-to-Mother paint Stoddard County blue this April. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. the pinwheel represent hope, health, and happiness. Planting pinwheels raises awareness about child abuse prevention and recognizes that child development is a building block for community and economic development.

Congratulations to the Varsity band on earning an outstanding (II) rating at their Large Group State performance! Congratulations to the following students for their performance ratings at district solo and ensemble: Trombone Trio-Benjamin Rybolt, Juan Lara, and Lee Riley (Exemplary, I) Trumpet Solo-Dakota Hutchcraft (Exemplary, I) Bassoon Solo-Gerica Harris (Exemplary, I) Trumpet Solo-Toni Long (Outstanding, II) Students with exemplary ratings will get the chance to compete again at the state level in Columbia, Missouri on April 28th.

Congratulations to the DHS Choir students and Mrs. Sepulvado! All five choirs received a “1” exemptary rating today at the MSHSAA State Choir Contest.

Due to inclement weather, the tennis match and softball game scheduled for today have been postponed.
