Central Elementary- Due to incoming inclement weather, there will be NO after school tutoring today at Central. Also, the Book Fair and Family Reading Night has been postponed for tonight. It is rescheduled for Thursday, February 2nd from 5:30-7:00.

Central Elementary- There is NO AIM after school tutoring on Monday, November 21st.

Central Elementary- Canned food drive begins on Monday, November 14th and will end on Tuesday, December 13th. The canned goods will be donated to the Stoddard County Gospel Mission Food Bank. The school with the most cans will have cookies, and the class collecting the most will have donuts.

Central Elementary- Don't forget to wear Red, White, and Blue for the Veteran's program today!!

On Monday, October 31, Dexter High School will open our “Haunted Hallways” from 5:00-6:30 pm. We thank you for supporting this event by sending candy to Southwest and Central elementary schools. We can’t wait to see all the little bearcat ghosts and goblins tomorrow night!!

Central Elementary- We are asking students to bring $3 to help cover the cost of snacks, candy, and activities for the Fall Party. Please send the money to your child's teacher by October 19th. The Fall Party is scheduled for Monday, October 31st.

Central Elementary- DHS Student Council is asking for your help by donating bags of candy to be used at the Trunk or Treat. Candy will be collected from October 3rd to October 27th. The homeroom class collecting the most candy will receive a pizza party.

Central Elementary- Monday, August 23rd from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. will be Meet the Teacher night! Central students and parents are encouraged to drop-in during that time to meet their new teacher and drop off school supplies.

MS Athletic Update Fall Sports practices will begin the week of August 16th. In order to begin practicing, all athletes must have a physical on file in the office. MS Football practice will take place from 7-9am at the field. MS Cross Country practice will be from 7-8am at Hidden Trails Country Club. MS Football cheer will be from 9-10:30am in the MS gym. MS Girls Basketball will begin practicing after school on Wednesday, September 1.

Our baseball team will be playing at home today for the Class 4 District 1 Championship against Kennett. First pitch is set for 5:00. Come out and support our players and coaches! Go Bearcats!!

District Baseball Update The Class 4 District 1 Baseball championship between Dexter/Kennett is cancelled for today. The game will be played in Dexter and is rescheduled for tomorrow at 5:00.

DHS Seniors - you will need to return all items today: books, chromebooks and chromebook chargers to the library. All fines and fees should be paid. These things must be done in order to get your diploma tomorrow night. Senior Sunset tonight - arrive by 7:15 at the football stadium

Sports Physicals Reminder Free Physical Day will be held at the SE Health Hospital Clinic(N. One Mile Road) tomorrow, May 13th, from 3:30-5:00 pm for any incoming 7-12 student athlete. Physical forms are on hand in the HS and MS office. Students must have page 2 and page 3 fully completed, along with a signature from their parent/guardian before meeting with the healthcare provider. We encourage all student athletes to get a physical. Thanks again to SE Health for providing this service for our students.
