covid-19 family resources

Central Elementary families,

While our school building may be closed in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are still here for you and are dedicated to providing learning opportunities to keep your child's skills as sharp as possible.  This page will provide a "one stop shop" where you can access our available online resources as well as print out our enrichment packets using the links on the left-hand side of the page.

Your child's teachers should be reaching out during the week through various communication methods. Please make sure you are checking emails, Remind.com, Google Classroom, and any other site that your child's teachers may use on a regular basis.  Central math teachers are sending out activity challenges each Tuesday, and reading teachers are sending out challenges each Thursday.  While none of these activities are required, we encourage you to help your child work through some or all of the activity challenges.

This page is a work in progress, so check back often, we will be adding new resources as they become available. We especially recommend checking Mrs. Richard's Central/Southwest Elementary Libraries Facebook page; she adds new resources and activity ideas almost daily.

Please reach out to your school staff if you have questions or concerns.
