This letter hopes to find all of you well and let you know we miss being with our students.
With the Wellness Break being extended to April 24th, Central and Southwest Elementary Schools would like to share some online, learning opportunities for your child to engage in at home. These activities offer a wide range of subjects for enrichment to include math, language, reading skills, and science. These are set up in a fun, game type format that will keep the student engaged and learning at the same time. Some examples of the sites include: ABCYa, MobyMax, Starfall, Funbrain, ZiggityZoom and many more. The Southwest Elementary Link is Southwest and Central Elementary is Central.
We encourage you to enjoy these free online enrichment activities with your child. In addition, be looking for a message from your child’s teacher.
If you do not have internet access, enrichment packets will be available to mail to your child. Please call 573-614-1000, extension 1608 and leave your child’s name, grade and address. A small packet of worksheets will be mailed as soon as possible. Please remember, these packets are enrichment, learning opportunities and will not be graded.
Please be safe and know that Central and Southwest Elementary truly miss your children. We value your child’s education and will continue to monitor local and state recommendations.
